Through Her Eyes

  Living Life Legally Blind

A Vision of Inner Strength: My Mission

Life may bring unexpected challenges, but they do not define your future. A diagnosis may change your path, but it does not change your purpose.

Embrace the journey that God has planned for you. Embrace your challenges and find gratitude through it. We have a God that loves us and has made us uniquely beautiful. Together, let's keep shining our light and inspiring others along the way!

  • I use my story to bring awareness, encouragement, and hope to the visually impaired community.
  • I write children’s books inspired by real experiences with vision loss, helping kids feel seen, understood, and brave.
  • Through keynote speaking and advocacy, I encourage others to embrace their own story, learn to advocate for themselves, and confidently ask for the accommodations they need.
  • Through Her Eyes: Living Life Legally Blind was created to empower, encourage, educate, and inspire the visually impaired community through faith, courage, awareness, and real-life experiences.

     My Book

The Letter E shares the beginning of my journey, failing eye exams, searching for answers, and discovering my diagnosis. Inspired by my own personal journey living life legally blind, this book reflects the struggles, victories, and lessons that shaped who I am today. This is just the beginning. I plan to continue writing books for children with visual impairments, creating stories that help them feel seen, empowered, and hopeful, reminding them that even if their path looks different, it can still be meaningful and full of purpose.

      The Letter E h

THE LETTER E is a children’s book inspired by a true story, created to help kids understand vision loss in a gentle, empowering way. Through warmth, honesty, and hope, this story shows that seeing differently doesn’t mean living with limits; it means discovering strength from within.

    • Helps children navigate the uncertainty of vision loss with reassurance and understanding
    • Encourages confidence, resilience, and self-belief in kids facing challenges

    • Supports parents, educators, and caregivers in starting meaningful conversations

    • Based on a real-life experience of growing up legally blind
